Preamble: I've removed my old Italian keymapping from the keyboard, now it's defaulted to English. But I've played 2 games with it (the second is this one), so I was quite slow.
To counter a tower rush with n.e. you should build ancient of war around the towers, while he's building them.
Don't burn your resources, because you'll need some mans to kill their builders, so they can't repair.
If you're the human, kill first the whispers, the moonwells and then the ancients - while you're trying to kill the ancient, the elf will build other countermeasures - they are the slowest, so just build towers away each from the other.
Last tip: rushing means "leaving the base alone", all your forces will be in the towers.
Owning someone with towers while building the base is harder, but actually gives better results.
This guy actually made the error of leaving the base alone, and not defending it adequately.
It was a first time that I won by "stealing" someone's base, but actually I've seen much funnier and better tower rushes (and maybe someone is in my replays, but dunno which :D).
